Statement
O.P.Jindal School, Savitri Nagar, Tamnar, came into being as a result of Corporate Social Responsibility of Jindal Power Limited, Tamnar to avail quality education to the children of its employees as well as to the children of the nearby inhabitants. Its main aim is to fill the academic vacuum existing in the region by way of providing education of high standard and also inculcating the 'Human Essence' with moral and ethical values of a very high degree. The motto of the school "Tamso Ma Jyotirgamaya" bears testimony to this fact. In its short journey of about a decade the school is still in its nascent stage with promising output.
